The Linking Hands Housing Working Group meets regularly to discuss what steps are needed to address the various housing concerns within Dundas County, including but not limited to the following:

• homelessness

• lack of affordable rental units

• lack of subsidized housing units

• energy poverty

• high cost of living (housing costs exceed recommended 35% of income)

• existence of unsafe and unclean rental units (landlord-tenant issues)

• lack of funds for needed upgrades for homeowners
